Quilt blocks for Alberta
The Ottawa Modern Quilt Guild asked for quilt blocks to be donated for victims of the recent Alberta fires. Our members made blocks and Donna Loehr coordinated the project. The block was a Maple Leaf and the colors of the Alberta flag were used.
We have been working this year on making baby blankets to benefit The Treehouse. The Treehouse offers mothers and babies a brighter future through sharing God's love, basic necessities, education, and genuine personal care.
